Dave Eggers | It Is Right to Draw Their Fur Folio (online)

$ 62.00

Printed in time to coincide with a gallery show in San Francisco, this is Dave Eggers's first collection of drawings. Most of these works are of unusual mammals, most often accompanied by slogans with ancient, heroic, or just plain odd overtones.

Eggers says: "Sometimes the animals question their existence or purpose. Sometimes a passage from the Old Testament surrounds them and in some way gives them a sense of mission. But usually there exists tension between the animal and an unseen God, and in all cases I try to bring out the soul of the animal.

This 14" x 19", full-color package is a combination of 26 large-sized prints and an accompanying booklet.
