Gabriel Stromberg is a Seattle-based designer, artist, and educator. He has worked as a lead creative for several companies and organizations such as Totokaelo, the Henry Art Gallery, and No Space Gallery. As creative director for Civilization — a design firm focused on social change — he has created design solutions for clients across the globe and has won numerous awards, including a 2018 Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian award for communication design. His work is included the collections of SFMOMA and the Cooper Hewitt Museum. In a 2016 interview in Print he said, “If there is a philosophy or principle that runs throughout my work and process, it’s a belief in ‘less is more,’ which I attempt to apply in all parts of my life.”
