
Sarah Hotchkiss
Sarah Hotchkiss is a San Francisco artist and arts writer. She makes abstract, geometric paintings that play with repetition, contrast and optical illusion. She received her MFA at California College of the Arts and shows with Romer Young Gallery in San Francisco. Her work has been included in exhibitions at Guerrero Gallery, Los Angeles; Best Practice, San Diego; Berggruen Gallery, San Francisco; and the ICA San José. She has contributed essays to The Quarterly Report, Art in America and Open Space. She is currently a senior editor of arts and culture for KQED.
